[Mono-dev] NUnit Version Numbering

I'm thinking about changing version numbering for NUnit to use a build
number (third digit) that represents the number of days since an arbitrary
date - maybe the first release of NUnit, or the creation of the sf project.
This would allow a simple way to separate versions of NUnit built with .NET
1.1 from those built with .NET 2.0 without using a different name.
For example, one possibility is
NUnit 2.4.xxxx - using .NET 1.1
NUnit 2.5.xxxx - using .NET 2.0
where xxxx is the common build number for the two releases.
What do folks think?
