The Mono C# compiler by default does only reference three assemblies
(mscorlib, System and System.Xml). Any other assemblies that you use
must be explicitly specified.
A shortcut is to use:
mcs -pkg:dotnet file1.cs
The -pkg:dotnet will reference all the standard libraries that csc
