You're certainly right. However, Mac OS X for one doesn't have them
either, so I'd hope these sort of things to be covered by unit tests.

Once the runtime were working correctly, those should by comparison be
relatively easy to fix on an as-needed basis.
The archived messages however could indicate that there are ABI
differences, in addition to the usual header and compiler option
differences. But an Internet search shows AIX has a 32-bit userland,
so at least it'll not depend on the incomplete ppc64 port.
