This looks like a bug. Please report it at http://mono-project.com/Bugs
and attach a self-contained test case.

Have a look at Apple's docs (first Google hit for "Apple LaunchAgent").

Probably not better than mono-service because I believe
that UnixSignal is the actual issue.
